Current status of the design and organization of experiential activities in teaching Math in primary schools

Abstract

The study conducted a survey for 100 primary school teachers who responded to the survey for teachers at primary schools in Can Tho province and neighboring provinces, with the purpose of understanding and evaluating the current status of design. and organize youth activities in teaching Mathematics at a number of primary schools in Can Tho city and some neighboring provinces. The research results have proven that the way teachers design and build the process of organizing experiential activities in teaching Mathematics in elementary schools is mainly based on experience and reference documents. Mathematics teaching is still limited. Based on the above reason, the article has synthesized a number of theories and research works on experiential teaching. In particular, D. Kolb’s experiential learning theory is an important scientific basis and highly effective in designing and organizing experiential learning activities in elementary math in the general education program. 2018 overall information, meeting the goal of developing students’ capacity.
