Developing the competence to apply learned knowledge and skills in History and Geography for 5th graders

Abstract

According to the 2018 General Education Program, History and Geography have a key role in forming and developing historical and geographical capacity for students. Component capacities of history and geography capacity include: scientific awareness of history and geography; learn history and geography; Apply knowledge and skills learned. Through research on the General Education Program in History and Geography, the article focuses on clarifying: (1) manifestations of the ability to apply learned knowledge and skills; (2) related topics and requirements; (3) some teaching methods contribute to forming and developing the capacity to apply learned knowledge and skills in teaching History and Geography for grade 5.
