Translation necessitates a thorough understanding of language, specialized fields and cultural nuances. Effective translation training requires an integrated approach that includes building language competence and technical terms and cultural knowledge. To give teachers an insight into teaching translation, this paper will first present prominent perspectives on translation process, then address the obstacles when learning translating and finally recommend useful teaching methods.
