Abstract
To implement the 2018 General Education Program, schools are innovating teaching methods, focusing on active and modern teaching methods and techniques. Using the observation, analysis - synthesis method, the article focuses on clarifying the theoretical basis and process of using a combination of cooperative teaching and the "tablecloth" technique in teaching Civics Education in secondary schools to develop qualities and competences of students; thereby, helping teachers improve the quality and effectiveness of teaching this subject in high schools.
