Applying some AI tools in the process of assessing English writing skills

Abstract

Currently, the use of information technology in the process of teaching foreign languages has become an inevitable trend. The advancement of science and technology, especially the emergence of artificial intelligence (AI), has opened up new opportunities, making the teaching, testing, and assessment process much easier. This article focuses on introducing some artificial intelligence tools that can be used in the process of assessing English writing skills to reduce the effort and time for teachers as well as provide more accurate and objective feedback for learners.
