Cloud computing application trends in banking operations in Vietnam

Abstract

Cloud computing has emerged as a strategic solution that enables Vietnam banking sector to optimize operations, reduce costs, and create services & products that satisfy customer requirements in the context of robust digital transformation. Nevertheless, the integration of outdated systems, security concerns, and investment costs continue to impede the widespread implementation of this technology. Simultaneously, the State Bank’s legal policies and strategies have established advantageous circumstances to facilitate this process. Research on cloud computing is not only practical but also significant implication in regards to the proposing suitable solutions and development directions for Vietnam banking sector.
