Abstract

Ho Chi Minh’s ideas on mass mobilization and the role of the Vietnam People's Army in implementing mass mobilization tasks are of paramount importance. According to Ho Chi Minh, the army not only defends the homeland but also serves as a vital link between the Party, the State, and the people, while actively engaging in economic and social development, maintaining security, responding to natural disasters, and building a popular support front. To enhance the effectiveness of mass mobilization, the article proposes several solutions, including raising the awareness of cadres, innovating methods, consolidating the mobilization workforce, and promoting the “Skilled Mass Mobilization” movement. This provides a solid foundation for the army to continue playing its pivotal role in the cause of nation-building and defense.
