Abstract
The ghe ngo launching ceremony, a significant cultural event for the Khmer people in Soc Trang province, is an important component of the national intangible cultural heritage, embodying important historical, cultural, and community values. However, the cultural and tourism potential of ghe ngo remains largely unexplored. This study provides a comprehensive view of ghe ngo and its launching ceremony. It aims to contribute to the preservation of this valuable heritage while also promoting local cultural and tourism development and enhancing the community’s intangible cultural values.
