Abstract

The Sino - Nom heritage in Tuyen Quang province from the Early Le, Tran, and Nguyen dynasties, inscribed on steles, plaques, bells, horizontal lacquered boards, parallel sentences, along with books on geography, history, literature, culture, and beliefs, is not only a precious cultural treasure but also a bridge between the past and present, demonstrating the creativity and unique identity of the local people. These diverse and rich documents are currently preserved in domestic libraries, communal houses, temples, museums, and historical sites of Tuyen Quang. This vividly reflects the culture, beliefs, and customs of the ethnic groups in Tuyen Quang, preserved through generations, closelylinked to national and villagehistory, and of great significance in educating the younger generation about the nation’s history, traditions, and cultural identity. The article compiles statistics on royal decrees in Tuyen Quang, thereby highlighting the characteristics and values of these documents in preserving and promoting the local people’s religious and cultural beliefs.
