Abstract
Food tourism - a captivating form of tourism - not only offers tourists unique culinary experiences but also enables them to gain a profound understanding of the traditional culture of each ethnic group, country, and region. Ho Chi Minh City boasts a rich and diverse culinary heritage. However, the potential for developing food tourism in Ho Chi Minh City has yet to be fully and effectively tapped. This study analyzes the food tourism models implemented in Greece and Thailand in order to draw valuable lessons to optimize the utilization of culinary resources in tourism, thereby contributing to the attraction of tourists and the promotion of food tourism in Ho Chi Minh City.
