Abstract
Spiritual tourism in Vietnam is not only a sightseeing activity but also a journey of cultural immersion and religious practice. The Yen Tu relic complex (Quang Ninh) stands out as a prominent destination, embodying the values of Truc Lam Zen Buddhism, natural landscape, and historical architecture. This article adopts a case study approach to analyze the development of spiritual tourism in Yen Tu, focusing on the interplay between heritage conservation and tourism exploitation. Based on these insights, the paper proposes orientations for sustainable spiritual tourism development in Yen Tu, emphasizing the roles of heritage governance, community education, and responsible tourism practices.
