Abstract

In the context of globalization and the evolving values of young people, leveraging Heritage as a crucial tool for historical and cultural education is becoming an increasingly necessary and urgent trend. Experiential educational activities, thematic tours, historical competitions, and the application of digital technology at two significant heritage sites in Hanoi Capital - the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam and Hoa Lo Prison - have significantly contributed to transmitting traditional values to the young generation. However, the implementation process still faces shortcomings, including a lack of close coordination between schools and heritage site authorities, as well as limitations in human resources and heritage education materials. This article analyzes the role of cultural heritage and proposes solutions to enhance the effectiveness of traditional education through it.
