Abstract
Soul-calling chants have been formed, developed, and preserved within the folk cultural life of the Thai people, vividly reflecting social realities, rituals, and human experiences across time. In the soul-calling ritual, these chants serve as a significant spiritual and cultural practice in the lives of the Thai ethnic group in Thanh Hoa. This article analyzes and clarifies the cultural values of soul-calling chants in the cultural life of the Thai people in Thanh Hoa, and the broader Thai community in Vietnam. The study highlights the importance of preserving these cultural values, contributing to the enrichment of Vietnam’s advanced culture imbued with national identity.
