Đổi mới chương trình đào tạo đại học ngành Thư viện trong kỷ nguyên số
Abstract
In the context of national digital transformation, innovation in higher education has become an urgent requirement, especially in the field of Library and Information Science (LIS). This article analyzes the process of curriculum innovation undertaken by the Faculty of Library and Information Science (FLIS), University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH), Vietnam National University during the period 2021-2025, aiming to meet the demand for high-quality digital human resources. Through two revisions of its undergraduate programs (2023 and 2025), the Faculty streamlined the number of credits, incorporated courses on artificial intelligence, data, digital libraries, content management, and digital competencies, while developing specialized tracks within the majors of Information Management and LIS. The results indicate that both enrollment and graduation rates remain stable; the curriculum has been modernized, aligned with international standards, and supported by a highly qualified teaching staff.
