Cấu trúc lưỡng hợp trong lễ hội của người Chăm (Nghiên cứu trường hợp lễ Rija Nagar - lễ hội đầu năm của người Chăm tỉnh Ninh Thuận)
Abstract
This article focuses on analyzing the dualistic structure in the Rija Nagar festival at the beginning of the year of the Cham people in Binh Nghia village, Ninh Thuan province. This festival, while sharing some similarities with other Cham regions, contains many unique and distinct features, especially in its rituals and symbols. The article highlights the phallic dance ritual, which expresses the desire for fertility and growth. The author also points out many other dualistic symbols in the Binh Nghia Rija Nagar festival, which both demonstrate the Cham people’s deep dualistic thinking and represent a harmonious combination between opposing categories in Cham culture. The Binh Nghia Rija Nagar festival is not just a simple ritual but a complex cultural whole, containing many profound meanings about fertility, the harmony between yin and yang, male and female, as well as between dualistic structures in Cham society and culture.
