Luật Thư viện Việt Nam thúc đẩy phát triển mô hình thư viện số đại học dùng chung
Abstract
Vietnamese library law has established a solid legal foundation, fostering the comprehensive and robust development of the library system, particularly shared digital university libraries. Articles 29, 31, and 32 focus on modernizing libraries, building and sharing common information resources, and enhancing connectivity and integration among domestic and international libraries. This legal framework has created opportunities for establishing and operating shared digital university library models, such as the Digital Knowledge Connection Center and the Shared Digital Library System of Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, as well as digital library models for regional universities and specialized training sectors. This article introduces shared digital university library models and proposes solutions for implementing the Library Law to build such libraries in Vietnam, contributing to the digital transformation of education and scientific research.
