Abstract
This article develops a scale to measure students’ self-study activities in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The scale uses assessment criteria compiled from previous studies and supplemented by the author. Group interviews were conducted with experts in the education and tourism sectors, as well as 300 students from the Faculty of Tourism at Nguyen Tat Thanh University. These interviews were conducted both directly and online using a closed questionnaire. Based on these results, the author proposes several solutions to improve self-study activities for both students and lecturers. This study’s findings have administrative implications for training units aiming to enhance training quality in the context of Education 4.0.
