Abstract
Soc Trang is an important province in the Mekong Delta, where the Pacific Ocean and the ndian Ocean meet, and the mainland and the islands meet, so it is a meeting place for communities with distinct characteristics of material and spiritual culture. The coexistence of the Vietnamese - Khmer – Chinese ethnic groups here has created a cultural region that is both diverse and unified, both bearing common features and expressing unique features of ethnic cultural identity. The article applies the methods of participant observation and in-depth interviews, focused on analyzing a number of historical and cultural issues in the cultural exchange and acculturation between the Vietnamese - Khmer - Chinese ethnic groups, contributing to identifying the relationship between ethnic groups living together in Soc Trang province through cultural exchange and acculturation.
