Ký ức chiến tranh và bản sắc người lín htrong xã hội đương đại (Nghiên cứu trường hợp Câu lạc bộ Mãi mãi tuổi 20 - Hà Nội)
Abstract
Drawing upon the theory of collective memory, this study analyzes how veterans preserve and transform their identities through commemorative activities and social participation. These activities, such as returning to former battlefields and sharing historical narratives, aim to enhance historical awareness and national identity among the younger generation, thereby fostering a deeper understanding of past sacrifices for national independence. Through a case study of the Forever 20 Club (CLBMMT20), the research reveals that war memories are not static; rather, they are a dynamic force that continues to shape personal identity and social responsibility in the present. This analysis contributes to exploring how war memories influence the identity of Vietnamese veterans in contemporary society. Furthermore, the article contributes to the broader study of memory, nationalism, and the relationship between historical consciousness and identity formation in contemporary society.
