Abstract

The article deeply explores the lyrical vein in Huu Thinh’s poetry, a poet whose career is closely associated with Vietnamese history and culture. The article highlights the harmonious combination of personal and civic lyricism in his poetry. The author analyzes Huu Thinh’s typical poems such as: Mother’s house, Passing Autumn, and Phan Thiet has my brother to clarify the poet’s unique lyrical style from the cultural view. Thereby, the article affirms Huu Thinh’s important position in Vietnamese literature.
