Abstract
In the digital age, mass media not only provides information but also shapes social perception. Semiotics serves as a crucial tool in decoding media messages through images, language, and symbols. Based on the theoretical foundations of Ferdinand de Saussure, Charles Peirce, and Roland Barthes, this article analyzes how semiotics is applied in advertising, cinema, television, journalism, and social media, while also discussing the impact of digital media on the reception of messages.
