Bảo tồn nghi lễ mo của dân tộc Mường,huyện Nho Quan, tỉnh Ninh Bình

Abstract

The article focuses on researching and introducing Mo Muong - an important cultural heritageof the Muong community in Nho Quan district, Ninh Binh province. Mo Muong is not only a religious ritualbut also a treasure trove of historical, social, cultural and folk art knowledge of the Muong ethnic group.Mo Muong is associated with many rituals in life, especially funerals, where the mo master performs mosongs to lead the soul of the deceased to Muong Cha Dong (the world of ancestors). In addition, mo is alsopracticed in rituals of praying for blessings, exorcism, making souls, removing bad luck and other communityrituals. Mo Muong not only has spiritual value but also reflects the philosophy of life, moral education,demonstrates community cohesion and respect for the supernatural world. Currently, Mo Muong is stillpracticed and preserved by Muong people in Nho Quan district, contributing to preserving the nationalcultural identity.
