Bảo tồn văn hóa truyền thống của người Pà Thẻn(Nghiên cứu ở xã Linh Phú, huyện Chiêm Hóa, tỉnh Tuyên Quang)

Abstract

As one of the ethnic minorities with a small population size in Vietnam, the Pa Then peoplepossess a rich and unique cultural heritage. Living in a small community in an area with many other ethnicgroups, the traditional culture of the Pa Then people in Linh Phu commune (Chiem Hoa district, TuyenQuang province) is currently being strongly affected by the process of socio-economic development,industrialization, and modernization of the country. Many traditional cultural values of the community areat risk of being seriously lost. In that context, preserving and promoting the cultural heritage of the Pa Thenpeople has become an urgent task, not only to protect national identity but also to contribute to the nationalcultural development strategy. Therefore, there needs to be specific policies, appropriate investment, andactive community participation to preserve Pa Then culture in parallel with local socio-economicdevelopment.
