Abstract

Children represent the foundation of the nation’s future. The development of children’s physicalhealth together with their intellectual growth and emotional welfare requires the collective responsibility ofthe society. In response, the government, in collaboration with relevant ministries, sectors, and organizations,has implemented a range of policies, programs, and initiatives aimed at supporting children’s comprehensivegrowth. This paper investigates the developmental impact of reading on children while proposing multiple
strategic approaches to foster sustained reading habits among children in contemporary context.
