Abstract

The role of reflecting and developing language is an element of the cultural development function of music. With their characteristics and essence, musical works will contribute to the reproduction of spoken language, including reflecting intonation in spoken language and reflecting the continental and regional languages. Music also takes part in reflecting the development process of language through the characteristics of primitive language, the function of modern language in supporting people to express themselves. Music also contributes to connecting, interacting, and sharing language in the community by bringing equality, becoming a common language to connect people. The article mentions the music’s crucial role in language education by reflecting the characteristics and development process of language, and the capability in connecting community. Applying music scientifically can effectively support the process of practising, consolidating, educating and developing language.
