Abstract

Folk believes are not only an essential part of people’s lives, but also play a vital role in shaping the Vietnamese cultural identity. As a practice that embodies the spiritual mindset and reflects the multifaceted values of history, culture, and art… accumulated and preserved by the community over generations the worship of Bao Ninh Vuong serves as a representative example of folk deity veneration, characterized by its rich expressions in legends, sacred narratives, and historical relics. Approached from a heritage standpoint, this article explores two key dimensions of Bao Ninh Vuong worship, historical importance and cultural significance.
