Abstract
The commune of O Dien (Hanoi) is a special area within the Red River Delta, with a rich history and unique cultural characteristics. O Dien is not only linked to the historical period of the Early Lý Dynasty but also holds distinctive value for the cultural landscape of the Doai region. This includes its spiritual and religious life and related ceremonial activities. From a “geo-cultural-historical” perspective, this article focuses on exploring and surveying some aspects of religious life through festivals connected to the O Dien commune. It also clarifies the unique features of its religious culture, which originate from the fundamental natural characteristics of the area. Based on the analysis of these characteristics, the article aims to provide viewpoints and solutions to preserve/protect the values of cultural heritage and ecological and geographical spaces, thereby creating a sustainable development trend and turning cultural heritages in the geographical landscape environment into "resources", contributing to the economic and social development of the locality.
