Abstract

Le Quy Don was an outstanding figure and prominent scholar in 18th-century Vietnamese history. He was renowned for his intelligence and made significant contributions to various fields including politics, diplomacy, philosophy, history, ethnology, agronomy, literature, library studies, geography, sociology, and law. Throughout his career, he provided valuable insight into building and protecting the country, as well as developing national civil culture. Le Quy Don exemplifies morality, intelligence, diligence, patriotism, creativity, flexibility, curiosity, research, and national cultural traditions.
