Abstract

The article focuses on analyzing the tourism resource system for sustainable tourism development in Sam Son City (Thanh Hoa) based on synthesizing views on tourism resources from previous studies and views on resources for economic development - society is expressed in documents through the Congresses of the Communist Party of Vietnam. Accordingly, the resource system includes: tourism resources, human resources, financial resources, infrastructure resources and technical facilities, mechanism and political resources, policy. This is a necessary requirement and an important basis for managers to build strategies to effectively exploit the potential and strengths of local resources. From there, tourist areas and tourist attractions will continue to create unique and highly competitive sustainable tourism products to “stimulate” tourism and attract more and more tourists to Thanh Hoa. Therefore, properly assessing the role of each resource and combining to promote resources is the right path to develop the tourism economy in a professional and sustainable direction, overcoming shortcomings in the way of organization, serve, and build its own brand for Sam Son tourism.
