Abstract

This article addresses several core aspects of infrastructure development for the implementation of a smart library. These elements can serve as a reference for university libraries seeking to adopt smart library models. The paper presents the current status of infrastructure development for smart libraries in terms of physical facilities, infrastructure needs from the perspective of key smart library components and features, and relevant technologies. It also analyzes the advantages and challenges of building smart library infrastructure at the University of Transport and Communications in the current context. Based on this analysis, the author proposes several solutions for developing smart library infrastructure at the university’s library.
