Abstract
Con Dao is not only a land with profound historical and cultural values but also an area rich in natural resources with important marine ecosystems and special-use forests. Along with the strong development of tourism and socio-cultural activities, the environment in Con Dao is facing various impacts. Based on the survey from the study “Environmental Carrying Capacity Assessment and Sustainable Development Solutions for Con Dao District, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province” (2024), this paper focuses on analyzing the impacts of socio-cultural activities on the environment and proposing sustainable protection and development solutions for the locality.
