Abstract

Currently, in Vinh Phuc before (now Phu Tho province after the merger), various types of tourism are developing quite strongly. Tourism has a powerful impact on economic development, while also negatively affecting the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage. This article presents issues regarding the concept and types of heritage tourism; the role of heritage tourism in economic development and cultural heritage preservation; and solutions for building a harmonious relationship between cultural heritage preservation and the development of heritage tourism in Vinh Phuc (before).
