Abstract
The technique for observing and analyzing glass sample deformation during heating is introduced in this article. This technique simulates a Heating Microscope device by combining a temperature-controlled furnace with a digital camera and ImageJ image analysis software. Some results of studying the deformation of glass samples in the softening range demonstrated this technique's effectiveness. This is a relatively simple method of observing and analyzing heated samples that can be applied in practical production and scientific research.
