Abstract

Currently, companies have suffered a wave of brain drain as engineers have left one after another and are no longer attached to the company, most of which are moving to other companies, or moving to other professions. Due to the job characteristics of construction engineers: the work requires high autonomy, complexity, great pressure, due to construction progress. Working conditions are not good, often away from home, working in remote areas, temporary accommodation, difficult means of transportation, increasing pressure of construction profession, engineers must have high professional qualifications. to deal with the risks arising in the project. Overtime, high intensity working hours from 12 to 14 hours a day for construction engineers is a normal job. The construction industry plays an important role but no longer creates attraction for workers including learners in choosing a career, which leads to a serious labor shortage. Therefore, companies need to have policies to attract and retain employees.
