Digital transformation in urban construction management in Cao Bang: the role of BIM and GIS
Abstract
Digital transformation is becoming an inevitable trend in urban construction management, especially in mountainous urban areas such as Cao Bang, where planning, supervision and construction management still face many challenges. Resolution 57-NQ/TW has set out the requirement to promote the application of digital technology in the construction sector to improve the efficiency of management and sustainable urban development. This article analyzes the role of two important technologies, BIM (Building Information Modeling) and GIS (Geographic Information System), in implementing the goals of Resolution 57, while improving the efficiency of urban construction management in Cao Bang. Through practical research, the article assesses the current status of digital technology application in construction management, identifies the limitations and opportunities for implementing BIM and GIS. The research results show that the integration of BIM and GIS helps optimize the process of construction licensing, construction supervision and technical infrastructure management, contributing to the implementation of digital transformation goals according to the orientation of Resolution 57. Finally, the article proposes a BIM-GIS application model suitable for the actual conditions of Cao Bang, and at the same time recommends solutions to promote digital transformation in the field of urban construction management.
