Abstract

In recent times, the management of urban planning and development in Dong Thap Province has achieved numerous encouraging accomplishments, contributing to the socio-economic advancement of the region. Despite the positive outcomes, there persist certain limitations and challenges in the implementation process. To ameliorate this situation, data collection regarding the current state was conducted, followed by analysis and assessment of the urban planning and development management efforts in Dong Thap. The research findings have been utilized to propose strategies aimed at enhancing the efficacy of urban planning and development management activities in the future. These strategies have been vetted by experts in the construction field to ensure feasibility and precision in suggesting specific measures for elevating the quality of urban planning and development management in Dong Thap in the upcoming period.
