The implementation process of Scan to BIM project applying it to case study

Abstract

Scan to BIM has become an essential tool in the present-day, offering precise as-built data and enhancing job productivity. The research highlights the importance of using this technology in the construction sector, namely at the provincial level in Dong Thap province. The research aims to investigate the technology and methodology of converting point cloud models, also known as Scan to BIM, into construction information. This will be done through a pilot project conducted at the Administrative Center and offices of several provincial agencies in Dong Thap. The study prompts inquiries on the immediacy and possible implementations of Scan to BIM technology for enhancing efficiency and precision in the construction industry.
