Abstract

This paper presents experimental results comparing the bond strength of rebar in fiber concrete cured in natural coastal environment at Binh Dai, Ben Tre; laboratory environment and artificial aging environment (528 hours of salt spray and 220 hours of weather aging). Research results within 2 years show that the bond strength of rebar in fiber concrete cured in natural coastal conditions increases over time and has a decrease but not much compared to the control samples curing in the laboratory. In this study, the bond strength of rebar in fiber concrete after exposure to artificial aging for 748 hours will be equivalent to the curing time in the natural coastal environment of about 234 days.
