Building information management process for projects applying bim models based on ISO 19650 and legal system in construction in Vietnam

Abstract

Currently, the construction industry in Vietnam is in a period of strong development and is oriented towards global cooperation and international outreach and needs to be developed to improve management capacity and working methods to shorten the time. technology gap towards the goal of digital transformation. Building an information management process for projects applying the BIM model according to ISO 19650 standards and the legal system in construction in Vietnam was chosen as a research direction with the goal of determining a common unified framework to Collaboratively produce and manage information effectively throughout the entire project lifecycle using building information modeling (BIM). The study uses data collection methods, designs questionnaires for surveys, conducts tests, analyzes and processes data, steps to test the scale, evaluates and analyzes the model according to Quantitative method with the support of software. For feasibility, the study recommends a specific information management process diagram for projects applying the BIM model according to ISO 19650 combined with a system of legal documents in construction in Vietnam during the development phase  project.
