Abstract

Bidding for the construction of irrigation works is a part of the bidding for basic construction that has become a popular activity and is interested in the whole society because it is an expression of a strong transformation from "ask", "give" to the market, competition, fairness, equality in basic construction investment. Along with the economic development of our country, the bidding in construction has been completed and institutionalized in the legal and management system of the state. The introduction of the Bidding Law, together with the system of bidding regulations are great steps to overcome the shortcomings of construction bidding, in order to improve the quality of bidding to meet the requirements and tasks of bidding in the current economy. The system of regulations is increasingly perfect for bidding to become more competitive and transparent. In this article, the authors present "Some problems in the bidding for construction of irrigation works in Tam Nong, Dong Thap Province".
