Research on manufacturing pervious concrete

Abstract

Pervious concrete (PC) is made from a mixture of flint, crushed sand, cement, water and SP additives. Using the absolute volume method and the agglomeration method, with the water to binder ratio of 0.28 and the slump controlled in the range of 0 ¸ 1 cm. Research and design grades with different porosity are used, which aims to evaluate the effect of porosity on specific gravity, compressive strength and drainage rate of hollow concrete. From there, it is proposed to optimally mix hollow concrete for fabrication and application for public works, typically park works, roads on embankments, etc.
