Experience and solutions for combining household wastewater sewer system

Abstract

Some wastewater treatment plants in Vietnam are now facing two problems: operating without full capacity due to the inability to collect wastewater to the treatment station; input wastewater with low BOD from the combined sewer system and rainwater from the public sewer, in which most of household wastewater has been preliminarily treated through the septic tank. Thus, it is nesscessary to synchronously construct sewer lines to collect and connect the household wastewater equipment during the construction of the wastewater treatment plant. The application of new technologies and equipment will contributedly simplify the construction, the maintenance of the sewerage system connected from households.
