Abstract

The rural development in Vietnam reflects the global rural recession. To meet sustainable development, Rural Vietnam generally needs a smart solution that applies science and technology to effectively use local resources, improve education, health, food security, manufacturing enterprises, clean water, reasonable hygiene, and environmental sustainability. The research aims to propose a smart village model for Tan Thanh village, a typical agricultural village in Dak Lak province. If TanThanh's smart village ecosystem model is applied, it will contribute to the orientation of the village development planning and investment orientation of solutions within the STERM framework. Among the solutions, the old factory will be reused for agricultural market which will create opportunities to revive the old building of national historical monument.
