Gust loading factor and wind load on billboard structures to design standard

Abstract

ABSTRACT:
The paper presents the resonant dynamic response of the structure under the wind load and how to determine the gust loading factor by spectral approach, as well as the calculation of wind load according to TCVN 2737:1995, EN 1991-1-4 and ASCE/SEI 7-16. Numerical example to find gust response factor according to three standards, as well as the wind force acting on the surface of the billboards and the internal force of
the column base (moment and shear force), surveying the influence of column height and terrain categories to gust loading factor.
