Proposed solution to using precast fiber reinforced concrete blocks to construct sea expressway connecting Vung Tau - Go Cong
Abstract
ABSTRACT:
Vung Tau - Go Cong sea dyke project in the strategy to respond to climate change in the Mekong Delta is proposed based on the master planning problem of irrigation to solve the problem of flooding thoroughly for the whole area of Ho Chi Minh city and Dong Thap Muoi with more than one million hectares. In addition, the project also combines sea dykes as roads to shorten the travel distance from the Western provinces to Vung Tau, creating linkages for socio-economic development. This paper proposes a solution to use precast fiberreinforced concrete blocks to construct expressway on the sea connecting Vung Tau - Go Cong. Based on the economic and technical comparison with the structural solutions of the works that have been given in a combination of six national topics, it can be seen that for shallow to medium water areas, the solution to use precast fiber-reinforced concrete blocks brings high efficiency.
