Abstract

In studies on labor productivity, factors about humans and working conditions are always one of the primary concerns of construction enterprises. The study aimed to determine the factors influencing labor productivity related to the working conditions of construction workers in projects in the Southern region with participants from different positions such as directors, deputy directors, managers, and direct workforce. Data were collected from 120 valid surveys and then conducted to evaluate the importance of these factors based on the mean value (Mean). The analysis shows that the top five influential factors on the labor productivity of construction workers include: (1) excessive noise to the limit; (2) dusty environment; (3) radioactive substances in the environment; (4) high temperature; and (5) manual labor. The research results provide project stakeholders with an overview of factors influencing the labor productivity of workers regarding working conditions. Through this evaluation, solutions to improve working conditions are also proposed to increase labor productivity of construction workers.
