Estimation of coefficients in leakage flow equation on the water supply network
Abstract
ABSTRACT:
The leakage flow rate on the water supply network is the function of pressure in the pipes, leakage exponent factors (n), and leakage coefficient (k). These factors are the properties of leakage flow such as section area, flow slope, or the soil environment outside. Each leak has its characteristics, so it is difficult to determine (n, k) for all the leaks. In this paper, the author using the fuzzy inference system model (HSM) to estimate two coefficients (n, k). The results of the HSM model were verified on the hydraulic model of the DMA15 Go Vap district Ho Chi Minh city water supply network and proposed the equation of the leakage for the research area.
