Research the procedure to determine the wind load on the steel frame of single-storey industrial building according to European standard EN 1991-1-4:2005 and compare with Vietnammese standard TCVN 2737-1995

Abstract

ABSTRACT

This article research the method to determine the wind load on the steel frame of single-storey industrial building according to EN 1991-1- 4:2005 in the condition of Vietnam. In addition, the article also provides a method to calculate and convert input parameters, calculate the data to serve the process of determining wind load conveniently, compare some differences between European standard and Vietnamese standard; establish a procedure to calculate wind load, make an illustrative example and give some comments when calculating according to this standard.
