Studying the effect of elastic modulus soil on underground structures in explosive loading
Abstract
This paper presents the results of the study on the influence of the elastic modulus of the soil on the internal forces of the underground structures under the impact of explosive loads in the soil. The problem model is built including explosives, reinforced concrete and soil. Using Abaqus software with CEL (Coupled Euler Lagrangian) and ALE (Arbitrary Lagrangian Eulerian) methods to calculate. The results show that the elastic modulus of the soil affects the internal force state of the structure, but the rate of increase (decrease) of the internal force is not proportional to the rate of increase (decrease) of the elastic modulus. Therefore, when calculating, designing capacity of underground structures to explosive effects, it is necessary to study and select suitable ground material parameters to minimize the impact on the structure.
