Factors influencing the delay of Factory construction progress in Vietnam

Abstract

Construction of factory projects is being widely implemented in Vietnam as part of efforts to industrialization and modernization. During the construction process, slow
progress is said to be quite common. This study has collected opinions of 84 experts in the field of factory construction to investigate the factors affecting the delay in factory construction. By using the mean and ranking the factors, the study found that all 57 factors have moderate to high influence on the delay in factory construction in Vietnam. Among them, there are 5 factors that have the greatest influence on construction delay, with an average value of 4.0 or more.
